Any hints about how to read this file in Matlab?

I have an ASCII file in which *alternate* rows are formatted identically, e.g.:

47.4N 32.6E 10 16 20
326 25 6
46.2N 31.2E 11 12 21
100 23 1
48.2N 35.2E 12 14 26
108 21 3

and so on.

How can I read this so that odd rows (or a few columns from each odd row) are put
into one matrix and even rows into another?

Thanks,

Ari Epstein
