For folks like me who know Perl but not R, the module here:

http://search.cpan.org/~randerson/Statistics-LineFit-0.07/lib/Statistics/LineFit.pm

is a godsend. (I don't have to worry about accuracy - I'm running
PERL in a 64-bit Linux Cenos57 VM; also, the download file has VERY
simple install instructions.)

But I'm wondering if anyone in the community has used this module and
if so, whether they have any warnings or concerns about its use.

Thanks for any useful info anyone can provide.
