PROBLEMS OF THE WEEK 2012-13: TRIG, CALC, AND ... VIDEO!

http://mathforum.org/pow/support/

The Problems of the Week (PoWs) have kicked off for the
2012-2013 academic year with two exciting additions!

First, we've re-launched a Current PoW for trigonometry and
calculus students:

http://mathforum.org/blogs/pows/re-introducing-the-trig-calculus-problems-of-the-week/

Second, we've begun enlivening select past puzzles with brief
video clips -- most 30 seconds or shorter:

Now taking place: math education conversation of the day

"Dr. Thurston was my honors calculus teacher at Princeton. We
undergrads got a kick out of having someone so 'out there' as
our teacher. I appreciated his gentle manner and
earnest enthusiasm."

"I was thinking of how fun it would be to make a YouTube video
