Hi,

I don't know whether this is a suitable newsgroup for my question. If not, I would apologize for any inconvenience caused.

I'm now working on estimate the 1st and 2nd derivatives from a noisy signal. I wonder if there is(are) special filter(s) that can smooth the noisy signal while preserving its derivative information. If so, I can derive information from the filtered signal.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
