I have base 3d matrix that will remain fixed, call it base. I have another matrix, smaller than the first that I wish to add to the base. However, I need to add it to base from various directions. For instance, I first want to add its elements to base from the top then possible from 20 degree rotation counterclockwise. Is there an easy way rotate the second and then add only the parts that intersect after rotation?
If this doesn't make sense I'll try to come up with some sort of diagram. Thanks,
