Hi,

OK, so at least I'm not the only one...

I can confirm that the above setting makes the help browser more stable (but
also less nice).

The "Check for Updates" crash seems totally unrelated - it takes down the
whole Matlab instance about 9 times out of 10.

I guess I'm going to stay with 2012a for now until there's an update or 2013a.
