Hi,

I have a matrix with a limited set of integer values (say 3-4)
and I want a display of this matrix in black-and-white. Of course,
I can use e.g. the pcolor-function with a few elements grayscale, but I
think the result could be more convincing if I could assign a different
hatching to the different matrix values, so that areas, where the
matrix elements have a particular value, appear with a chosen hatching
pattern.

If anyone knows about a way to do this, I would be happy if you could
drop me a note.
Thank you very much in advance
Rolf
