Hello Everyone,
Its almost October, which means our annual fall conference for
AMTNYS is coming VERY soon! This year's conference, the 62nd Annual
Conference ~ Live, Love, Math Now and Forever ~ will be held on November
8th -10th 2012 in Rye Brook, NY. Which means we're almost down to a month
to go! With that in mind I wanted to send out a reminder about how to
register and how amazing this year's conference is really shaping up to
be! Come and join us for book signings, amazing speakers (Dr. Glenda
Lappan AND Dr. Keith Devlin), opportunities to get questions answered by
actual State Ed and Board of Regents representatives as well as OVER 200
sessions to attend! Many of these sessions will focus on the new common
core and how to incorporate it into a variety of classrooms. Not to
mention all of the wonderful booths that will be set-up in the commercial
exhibit area! Plus there are some wonderful opportunities to socialize
with fellow teachers and discuss the days happenings! So come join us for
the Regional Social sponsored by Texas Instruments on Thursday night as
well as the Banquet on Friday evening!

So, as we get closer to the beginning of November, don't forget to check
out the AMTNYS website ~ ~ to be able to register for the
conference and check out the preliminary flyer which gives you just a
slight taste of all those wonderful workshops that will be happening this

Look forward to seeing everyone at the conference this year!!
