I'm preparing my slides for a conference and I'm planning to
take photos of the screen (Don't complain: it works, it's cheap, it's simple)

I need to control the colour of the figure titles.

I know I can do it with title('SPAM','Color',[r g b])
but I'd like to be able to set the default.

You can set the default text colour:
>> set(gcf,'Defaulttitlecolor',[r g b])

But it doesn't influence the title colour
and this doesn't work
>> set(gcf,'Defaulttitlecolor',[1 0 1])
??? Error using ==> set
Bad default property specification.

Any suggestions?
