There are seven basic indeterminate expressions in math, which
in Matlab language are

0 / 0, Inf / Inf, Inf * 0, 1 ^ Inf, Inf - Inf, 0 ^ 0, Inf ^ 0.

Matlab evaluates each of the first five as "NaN". But the last two
are evaluated as "1". Anybody have a perspective as to why?

Tim
