Is there any way to use a variable value in the title of a plot?

Here is a sample

t=0:.1:15;
k1=[0.5 .85 1.0 2.0];
for n=1:4

k1=ks(n);
num=[5*k1];
den=[1 6 5 0];
[nums,dens]=cloop(num,den);
y1=step(nums,dens,t);
subplot (2,2,n),plot(t,y1)
*** Title (' K1 = ') % This is were I would like to put the value of k1
end

The titles should Read "K1=0.5" or "K1= 0.85" ect.

Thanks
