Hi,

i would like to configure a high end system running Matlab for Linux using
Intel/PC hardware (tyan dual pro 256MB RAM, 16GB SCSI-ultra Raid, Linux
2.0.21). Has anyone managed to run Matlab stable under Linux 2.0.21 using
SMP. Will Matlab for Linux take advantage of Pentium Pro machines or even
dual to quad Pro systems (thread programming of mathlab)? If not which
Linux 1.2.x kernel is recommended. How does the Linux version compare to
the other Unix platforms ? Why doesn´t mathlab run under Linux 2.0.x (just
in case)
