My question is : How I can generate 10000 samples from a Gaussian Random variable with 2.3 mean and 1.7 variance and estimate and plot the PDF using histograms with 50,100 bins?

I think first step is: G=sqrt(1.7)*randn(10000,1)+2.3 but what is next?

Thanks for help.
