Can Matlab perform a two dimensional polynomial fit to data? I
realize that Matlab can fit splines to 2dim data, but I can't use splines
for my application. Are there any commands, NAG routines, or anything out
there. Although it probable does not matter, my f(x,y) varies smoothly
with respect to x & y over the interested domain.
I really appreciate any assistance with regards to my problem.
