how to orient Polar Plot 0 Degrees at the North Pole

I've done this by brute force by altering the data or function by 90 degrees and manually assigning tick labels. Sorry, I don't have an example handy.

Another thought would be to rotate the tick labels by -90 then rotate the graphic by 90.
