Hi,

Could someone help me out with the following problem?

If I use pcolor, like

pcolor((1:10),(1:20),rand(20,10))

a nice checkerboard plot is shown. However, if I then do

axis('equal')

a figure is shown, where the axes go far beyond (in this case left and
right) from the actual image.

Is there an easy way to solve this such that the axes exactly enclose
the image?

Any help is welcome, thank you in advance.

Rene.
