This has got to be a simple question:

I need to evaluate the derivative of the phase vector returned by the
Bode command.

num = [1 2 3 4]
den = [-4 3 2 1]
w = logspace(0,6,1000);
[mag,phase] = Bode(num,den,w);
dphase = der(phase) <--- that's what I need to do

evalpt = 100;
[w(evalpt) dphase(evalpt)]

That's it. I just need to know if there is a standard function to take
the nth derivative in Matlab 4.0 or 4.2. Or can I use some Laplace
method?

Thanks,
Robert
