Agestructured differential equation model

Hi, I have a model consisting 9 differential equations. Now the whole population is divided into 10 age class, and each age class repeat those 9 differential equations. So full model is all together 90 equations. Note that these 9 equations are basically repeated of 10 times with some interactions terms of populations.
Now, if I write all 90 equations even with 'for'loop, it takes long time to compute in Matlab. Is there any other way that we can do it?
Any suggestion would be great!
thanks, Hato
