follow-up puzzle

A follow-up to the "digits of 2013" question, a little harder:
The recent stretch of years with repeated digits is surprisingly long
(26 years). Was it the longest such interval since the year 1? Clearly
no: the 1100's had a lot of years with repeated digits. Is it the
second longest?
