Hi,

No, I meant something like:

f[x_] := 4 x^2 + 2 x + 5 // TraditionalForm
f[x]
Plot[f[x], {x, -\[Pi], \[Pi]}]

It is not a big deal, as I can assign //TraditionalForm whenever I
want the text output of the function, but I was wondering why the
order of the terms of the function would matter to Plot[]
