MLE estimate of MRF parameter

I want to maximum likelihood estimate parameter, beta, of the Gibbs distribution as part of mean field approximation in EM algorithm. I know that it can be obtained using conjugate gradient method. Does any toolbox or code provide the facility to find the estimate?
