It is a decimal. All decimals are, at least in theory, endless strings,
though, by custom, one may omit trailing zeroes after the decimal point. "
0.3333...
means
there are and endless amount of 3s following the decimal
just as 0.9999...
means there are an endless amount of 9s following the decimal
thus can you answer the question
is 0.3333... an endless decimal/infinite decimal ie never ends?
