I just viewed the link you posted. Good article and maybe retirement will be the only way in order to pay student tuition fees. However, one of the courses of student loans, apart from private, Stafford subsidized and Stafford unsubsidized, is Perkins loans, which are need-based. As student loan defaults and Perkins loan defaults have risen, it's brought repercussions, such as suits from schools against former pupils.
