As a short reminder:
http://www.mathworks.com/help/stats/regstats.html

I tried to use 'quadratic' model and the same model defined manually, i.e. by using the matrix of model terms.
Unfortunately, the results obtained in these two ways differ significantly. Thereby, the second way (manually defined matrix) seems to be erroneous one.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

P.S. The manually defined matrix is fine, i.e. I didn't make a mistake in defining it.
