Hi,

I've got the following code- designed to play a 512Hz (middle C) test tone
However the sound i'm getting out is very high pitch and doesn't relate to a 512Hz test tone. Any help/ideas? This has been confusing me alot

----------------------------------------------------

Fs= 1024;
t= 0:1/Fs:10;
x = cos(2*pi*512*t);

wavwrite(x, 'output')

----------------------------------------------------

this has been confusing me for a while.... I also have an FFT of the result which is correctly scaled that clearly shows energy at 512Hz.
