Hi everybody,

I have lat x lon grid data and i need to present these data on map.
For this i decided to use Lambert equal-area projection to remove the influence of the varying grid cell areas.

But graph is not very good, may be i do something wrong.

Am i right choosing map projection or i need to do something more, for example, use weights?
Which way is more correct for my case?

Here is part of code for mapping:

worldmap([65 90],[-180 180])
axesm('MapProjection','eqaazim','origin',[90,0]);
[c,h]=contourm(latv,lonv,n22_w(:,19:-1:1)-n21_w(:,19:-1:1),-25:0.1:5,'fill','on','LineWidth',2.0); %0:0.1:600, 0:1:10, 0:10:600,10:10:1200,1:1:1200,10:1:600,200:1:1400,
% caxis([0 10]);
% counts = [0:1:10];
load coast;
plotm(lat,long,'k');
gridm on;
framem on;
colormap((jet));
colorbar;

Thank you!
