Oh, I understand, it's the .34 you're interested in. I have just tried imfinfo() to get the file info about the image. The FileModDate is '10-Feb-2013 11:59:06', so seconds is the best you can get.

>format long
>imf = imfinfo('image.jpg')
>dateser = datenum(imf.FileModDate)


dateser = 7.352754993750000e+05

>datevec = datevec(dateser)

datevec = 2013 2 10 11 59 6
