"Either you have it or you don't" is false nonsense from the untalented who don't understand subjects well enough to teach them, or objections to reason from incompetent test makers who are more interested in ego than refining their methods. The owners of the test have every interest to insist that they're never wrong

"You can't study for the test" is the same lie the SAT and every other interest gave to anyone trying to prep and practice. Einstein would have been excluded from university it this mindset ruled in his family before he worked one-on-one with family.
