I am trying hard to orthogonalize one vector to another. What I want is to orhognalized vector X with respect to Y without changing Y. I did the following :
X_orth = X  dot(X,Y)*Y/(norm(Y)^2)
However, X_orth*Y'= 2.8306e+03
I added the exact two vectors that I have down here, So please any help!
X= 6.9362 14.0862 9.0762 4.0562 5.9338 10.6438 7.3662 0.1162 4.8338 2.3462 3.1938 0.3162 2.1538 1.8862 1.0738 2.6538 1.3562 0.1362 4.5762 6.3138 0.8938 0.6838 4.7038 0.5138 3.2662 7.2062 2.3662 7.2638 7.5862 2.4862 3.2938 5.8062 4.5662 2.8962 2.6462 5.0962 2.5962 7.9962 7.9562 6.7262 9.3062 11.8562 9.4162 6.6138 2.6362 3.1162 5.8362 2.7038 6.8638 0.8862 2.4438 9.1238 2.9438 6.4738 8.7138 14.4938 13.9238 11.7838 20.8338 3.4338
and another vector w Y=
