I have some images saved as .mat binary data files ( the matlab format),
the files are grayscale images...

how can i convert this format into pgm or raw format so that i can load
it into a program like paint shop pro ?

it seems that the .mat format is not just raw binary data...

so the real question to me is there a way to write .mat files into .pgm
?

any other ideas ?

thanks...

ps.
if any one is interested in a good image processing program (in addition
ofcourse to matlab) try paint shop pro...there is a shareware version to
try...windows enviroment only
