Fuzzy and Student version

Hi all,
I have a wonderful Mac 85090 and I need the fuzzy logic toolbox for my
final work at university. I would like to know if it's available in
"student" edition, or should forget to use the fzt on my mac?

Another question is:
I recently tested the matlab 5 on our sun at univesity, and the PPro
version seems to be VERY fast, faster than the 8500/180.
"Why" it's so fast? Is it due to a better optimization of the fortran
compiler for PPro?
Using the Matlab 4 on my "tiny" 604/120 it's VERY fast, much faster than a
Pentium provessor with highter clock rate. Is this probably due to a bed
tuning of the Mathworks' 8500?

Kind regards
Renzo
