%% Input
[x,fs]=wavread('speech.wav');
t=(0:length(x)-1)/fs;
plot(t,x);
legend('Input Waveform');
Xlabel('Time(s)');
ylabel('Amplitude');
%sound(x);

%% Pre-emphasis
a=0.95;
y=filter([1,-a],1,x);
t=(0:length(y)-1)/fs;
figure;
plot(t,y);
legend('Pre-emphasis Waveform');
Xlabel('Time(s)');
ylabel('Amplitude');
%sound(y);

%% Frame-Blocking
frame_size=25; %frame size for analysis (ms)
N_frame=frame_size*fs/1000; %number of samples of frame size

frame_shft=10; %frame shift for analysis (ms)
N_shft=frame_shft*fs/1000; %number of samples of frame shift
frames=enframe(y,N_frame,N_shft);
%frames=frames'; %one frame per column
[lframe,numframes]=size(frames);

plot(frames);
legend('Frame-Blocking-1');
