I get the following error on a Mac, but not on a PC running the same
code.
Does anyone know what might be going on?

??? Function 'sort' not defined for variables of class 'cell'.

Error in ==> Macintosh HD:Applications:Technical:MATLAB
5.1:Toolbox:matlab:ops:unique.m
On line 21 ==> [b,ndx] = sort(a(:));

Error in ==> Macintosh HD:Applications:Technical:MATLAB
5.1:Toolbox:matlab:ops:setdiff.m
On line 30 ==> [a,ia] = unique(a(:));

Error in ==> Macintosh HD:Professional
files:Homeostasis:software:shells:parsearg.m
On line 26 ==> sd = setdiff(c,s);

Where c is a cell and s is a string.
