eigenvalues

Hi I have never used matlab and have no experience in coding either. I am trying to get eigen values of following matrix [a11,a12;a21,a22] =A=[1((2?ab(1+2cb)(1+cb)(2b(1+gb)+d(1+2gb))/(4b^2(1+cb)(1+gb)d^2(1+2cb)(1+2gb))),2ad(1+2cb)^2((2b(1+gb)+d(1+2gb))/(4b^2(1+cb)(1+gb)d^2(1+2cb)(1+2gb)));d(1+2gb)/(2b(1+gb)),0]
i tried in two different ways but couln't generate the results
syms A B p r s t A=[1((2?ab(1+2cb)(1+cb)(2b(1+gb)+d(1+2gb))/(4b^2(1+cb)(1+gb)d^2(1+2cb)(1+2gb))),2ad(1+2cb)^2((2b(1+gb)+d(1+2gb))/(4b^2(1+cb)(1+gb)d^2(1+2cb)(1+2gb)));d(1+2gb)/(2b(1+gb)),0] B=eig(A)
syms x a b c f = a + b*x + c*x^2 coefficients = [2 1 3] result = roots(coefficients)
