We called about the construction. For full credit student needs "all appropriate arcs." Does there need to be an arc on the rectangle, or some indication that the student used appropriate points on the rectangle?

Answer: no. If the sides of the triangle are the correct length (and there are the appropriate arcs on the triangle), we can assume that the student got the right length from the diagonal of the rectangle. The rectangle can be unmarked.
