I wish to plot an equation involving Bessel function in polar co-ordinates:
u(r,theta)=besselj(p,l)*r*cos(l*theta)+(r^l)*cos(theta).
where r, theta refer to the radius of the circle and angle. I expect to get a circular plate with a particular buckle profile. I tried using meshgrid: [R,THETA]=meshgrid(r,theta). I even tried converting to polar form (x=r.cos(theta)), but i just dont seem to get it.
Can anyone suggest a way to plot this.
