I need to implement several 2D truncated sinc interpolation methods for image transformation. So far, this works just fine with the makeresampler function from the image processing toolbox. I call this function with a function handle to my interpolation kernel (for example f = (sin(pi*x)) ./ (pi*x)), NOT a discrete kernel.
Unfortunately, the results of these interpolations are pretty bad, as literature suggests. Therefore, I need to modify the original kernel calculated by the makeresampler function. Is there any way to access this discrete kernel?
