New English version of Japanese Textbooks

Tokyo Shoseki's Mathematics International - the English version of
the most popular mathematics textbook series currently being used in
Japan - is now available for grades 1-9 as a pdf download through
Global Education Resources http://www.globaledresources.com/.
Japanese textbooks were used as a resource in drafting the Common
Core State Standards for Mathematics. By studying these books, you
will get a better idea of the intent of the Common Core. Also, since
these textbooks were designed with lesson study in mind, they are an
invaluable resource for lesson study groups and other professional
learning communities. A flyer is attached with details.
