Howdy folks
So, the problem I have is I am trying to fit a matrix of Mx2 into another matrix that is of the same size. An example of what my data looks like can be seen here:

My ultimate goal is to figure out the positional error for each fitted point, I know least squared fit in matrix form can be implemented, but with this data, I am getting a big error rate, which makes me think that this method is not useful. Procrustes is another one that I learned about, but what other methods do you think I can implement?
