Hello,

I want to make a sampling similar to the Gaussian sampling, exp(-x^2/2/a^2), but not in the harmonic form of the input.

In specific, the distribution that I want to sample is: exp(-x/b).

In MATLAB, I can use the function randn to sample a Gaussian distribution.

I want to ask if there is a built-in function for that purpose.

Thank you.
