Using variables in 'prompt' strings

Hello everyone,

I want to do a 'for loop' that displays 'input dialog boxes'.

How can I number the boxes within the loop? I think it looks like:

for i=1:n
prompt('This is input dialog box number 'i' ');
inputdlg(prompt);.
end

but I don't find the correct syntax.
