Selection/Crossover/Mutation options for integercoded GA

Hello,
I would greatly appreciate if someone can provide any help regarding two questions about integercoded GA:
1) Regarding selection, crossover, mutation options, when I find "Do not use with integer problems"; does it mean I can use only the default option for integercoded GA? http://www.mathworks.com/help/gads/geneticalgorithmoptions.html#f14223
2) My chromosome has 5 blocks. Each block has 4 integercoded genes (each gene assumes an integer value between 0 and 24). I need to use multiple crossing points so the crossover swaps the whole block. In other words, the crossover operator cannot "cut" a block because, for each block, the integers on the 4 genes depend on each other. Do you have any suggestion/direction to do that? More specifically, is there a builtin function on matlab for that or I have to code it by myself?
