I am trying to write a Matlab code that could help me make a loop in Nastran.

My objective is to write a code that performs this task:

Each time I want to fix one element of my model, run Nastran and save the results.
Then I want to fix next element, run Nastran and save the result.
I wan wondering where in the DAT files I can find elements and how could I fix them.
1) What is the input file of Nastran? is it same as f06.dat?
2) How could I find elements and how could I fix one of them in each iteration?

Thank you
