I am using activeX to generate an excel file, in this excel file i am adding a hyperlink, i am trying to figure out if there is a way to make it display a different text than the link, for example if the hyperlink links to 'www.google.com' i want it to display 'google'. i know that you can do it with activeX but i cant seem to get it to work with matlab.
I am generating the hyperlink this way:
excel.ActiveSheet.HyperLinks.Add(excel.Activesheet.get('Range','G3'),... 'www.google.com');
there is a function called 'Texttodisplay' in activeX so i thought that i could do something like this:
excel.ActiveSheet.HyperLinks.Add(excel.Activesheet.get('Range','G3'),... 'www.google.com','Texttodisplay','google');
but no luck, thanks for your help.
