Dear dpb and TideMan,

Sorry for posting this twice!! my bad. it took abnormally long for the first one to go through so i thought it got lost on the way or something...

this database sounds interesting.. i will def. look into it!

TideMan, I was thinking about Netcdf too. I've worked a lot with that before. But I've never created any, always just read..

I'm gonna try both and see which way I can achieve most efficiency.. I'll probably come back here later, if I have another question, or if I've found a really good way to do it..
