I started writing the above code but when i run it I get the following error: Failure in initial user-supplied nonlinear constraint function evaluation. FMINCON cannot continue.

Do you think that I get this message because I'm using a for statement inside the nonLinearConstraints function?

Do you know another way in order to compute the matrix polynomial and its companion matrix in a multivariate case? Matlab allows only to compute this matrices in the univariate case!

Thanks in advance for your help!

Best,

Alessandro
