I recently struggled with a Ramsey theory paper by Rado, and started a thread on my difficulties. I was delighted that (at least) two others on this newsgroup looked at the paper with me, and gave feedback.
Encouraged by this experience, I have just started reading a paper by Erdos and Rado on Ramsey numbers -- http://www.renyi.hu/~p_erdos/1952-02.pdf

I've only just started but the purpose of this post is to open up a thread on this so that others might comment on any difficulties in the exposition or other issues. So I'm just opening up a discussion here, even though I don't have any particularly brilliant questions or insights yet.

Thank you,

Paul Epstein
