Math history books are plenty of such assertions.
After that, you can stop, you can dance, you can sing, you can do whatever yo want,

who care? The wrong assertion is theirs and that is what has been proved with all these new high order arithmetical methods which embraces not only Newton's, Householder's, etc. but many other new algorithms which has no precedents in the literature.
