Dear all,

I have Matlab 2013b installed on Ubuntu 12.04.
Now if I want to open a toolbox, it gives me errors.
For example if I want to open the system identification toolbox it says:

Error: File: allchild.m Line: 1 Column: 25
The input character is not valid in MATLAB statements or expressions.

Error in ident (line 38)
Xfake = findobj(allchild(0),'flat','tag','sitb16','name','FAKE');

And with other toolboxes it gives me the same kind of errors.
Does somebody know why this happens and how I can solve this error?
