Hi,

Simply, stupid question: I have a very small vector y and a very large
vector x.

I want the beginning offset in x where y is closest found (based on
correlation). If possible even circular.

I tried any combination with xcorr, cconv, ... I could possibly think
of. Issue: x = 1:20, y1=5:10, y2=6:11. No matter what I do, the lag for
y1 and y2 is always the SAME!

Thanks!
Peter

PS: So incredible, but I seem to be the first human on earth needing
this. After 2 hrs google, experimenting, ... no match!
